Driving range
Frequently Asked Questions
When's the best time to visit this driving range in Sweden, considering the climate?
We highly recommend visiting during the late spring to early autumn months, typically May through September, when the weather is most agreeable for outdoor practice. While they do have some covered bays, nothing beats hitting under the Swedish summer sky, especially with the extended daylight hours.
What kind of practice experience can I expect - are the balls good quality, and is there any tech?
You'll find a solid practice experience here; they use premium Srixon range balls that are regularly rotated, so you're not hitting rock-hard duds. While they don't have individual Trackman units in every bay, there are a few dedicated bays with Toptracer technology available for an extra fee, which is great for data junkies.
How much should I budget for a practice session, and are there any cost-saving options?
A bucket of 50 balls will set you back around 50 SEK, which is pretty standard for Sweden. If you plan on multiple sessions, we strongly suggest getting a range card - you can load it with credit and often get a 10-20% bonus, making your practice much more economical.
Beyond just hitting drivers, does this range offer good short game practice facilities?
Absolutely, and this is where it truly shines. They boast an excellent chipping green with a bunker, plus a separate putting green that's always well-maintained, giving you ample opportunity to hone your short game skills. We always dedicate at least 20 minutes here before or after our range session.
What's a unique highlight or feature that sets this Swedish driving range apart?
The standout feature here is undoubtedly the stunning view over the nearby lake and forest from the back of the range - it's incredibly peaceful and makes practice feel less like a chore. Plus, they have a small, cozy cafe serving fantastic Swedish fika (coffee and pastries), perfect for a post-practice treat.
