Spring Creek Golf Club

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time of year to experience Spring Creek Golf Club without the crowds?

We always recommend late spring, typically May to early June, or the early fall in September. You'll find the course in fantastic shape, the weather is usually perfect for golf, and you avoid the peak summer rush. Plus, the surrounding Canadian landscape in those shoulder seasons is simply stunning.

What kind of challenge can I expect at Spring Creek, and what makes its design stand out?

Spring Creek offers a really engaging test of golf, blending strategic shot-making with some truly memorable holes. We love how the course uses the natural elevation changes, especially on the back nine, which demands smart club selection and rewards precision over brute force. Keep an eye out for the par-3 14th-it's a beauty with a tricky green.

Is Spring Creek Golf Club a good value, and what should I budget for a round?

While Spring Creek isn't a budget course, we absolutely consider it a premium experience that delivers excellent value. You should budget in the CAD $120-$180 range for a prime time round, which includes a cart and access to their excellent practice facilities. The conditioning and the overall atmosphere make it well worth the investment.

What's the post-round experience like at Spring Creek, and are there good dining options?

After your round, head straight to The Creekside Grill-it's our go-to spot. You'll find a relaxed atmosphere with a fantastic patio overlooking the 18th green, perfect for recounting your birdies (or bogeys) over a local craft beer. Their clubhouse sandwiches are surprisingly good, and the staff are always genuinely friendly.

Is Spring Creek Golf Club a walkable course, or should I plan on taking a cart?

While you could walk Spring Creek, we honestly recommend taking a cart, especially if you're playing 36 holes or aren't used to significant elevation changes. The routing between some holes, particularly on the back nine, can be quite hilly and spread out. Save your energy for the swings, not the strolls.
