Predator Ridge

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the absolute best time to visit Predator Ridge for prime golf conditions?

We always recommend late May through early October for the best experience at Predator Ridge. You'll find the courses in peak condition, the weather is reliably warm and sunny, and the views of Okanagan Lake are absolutely stunning without any lingering chill. Just be aware that July and August can get quite hot, so early morning tee times are your friend.

Predator Ridge has two courses - The Predator and The Ridge. Which one should I play first, or what's the main difference?

You really should play both if you have the time, but they offer distinct challenges. The Predator is the original, known for its dramatic elevation changes and a more traditional, championship feel, while The Ridge offers wider fairways and incredible panoramic views that will truly take your breath away. If you're looking for a classic, demanding test, start with The Predator; for sheer scenic beauty and a slightly more forgiving layout, The Ridge is your pick.

Is Predator Ridge a walkable course, or should I plan on taking a golf cart?

While you *can* walk The Ridge course, we strongly advise taking a cart for both courses at Predator Ridge, especially The Predator. The elevation changes are significant, and you'll want to conserve your energy to enjoy the challenging shots and spectacular scenery, not to mention the distances between some greens and tees are quite long. Trust us, your legs will thank you.

What's the typical cost for a round at Predator Ridge, and is it worth it?

Expect green fees at Predator Ridge to be on the higher end, typically ranging from $150-$250 CAD per round, depending on the season and time of day. We absolutely believe it's worth every penny for the immaculate conditions, stunning Okanagan scenery, and the overall resort experience you get. Look for stay-and-play packages, which often provide the best value for your golf dollar.

What's there to do at Predator Ridge besides golf, and what's the overall resort vibe?

Predator Ridge is a full-service resort, so you'll find plenty to do off the course. We love the hiking and biking trails that wind through the property, and the outdoor pool area is perfect for relaxing after a round. The dining options, particularly Range Lounge & Grill, are excellent, offering local Okanagan wines and delicious meals in a relaxed, upscale setting.
