Disc Golf Course

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the ideal time of year to experience this disc golf course?

We highly recommend visiting in early fall, typically September or October. The crisp air and stunning foliage make for an unforgettable round, and you'll avoid the intense summer humidity and persistent biting insects that can be a real nuisance here.

How challenging is this course, especially for someone who isn't a pro?

This course offers a fantastic challenge for intermediate players, leaning towards technicality rather than sheer distance. You'll find a mix of tight, wooded fairways demanding precision, particularly on holes 7 through 12, which weave through dense oak groves and require accurate lines.

What should I expect regarding costs and available facilities at the course?

Good news- this course is completely free to play, a real gem! While there isn't a dedicated pro shop on-site, you'll find clean restrooms near the parking lot and a small convenience store just a five-minute drive away for drinks and snacks.

What's the one hole or feature that truly makes this course stand out?

Without a doubt, Hole 16 is the signature experience here- a dramatic downhill shot that opens up to a breathtaking vista of the valley below. It's a true 'grip it and rip it' moment, but be mindful of the prevailing crosswind that loves to carry discs wide right.

What practical advice do you have for someone playing this course for the very first time?

Definitely wear sturdy, waterproof shoes, as some of the back nine can get quite muddy after rain, and the terrain is uneven. We also strongly advise downloading a course map beforehand; the signage between holes 10 and 11 can be a bit tricky to follow for newcomers.
