Reflection Bay Golf Club
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Reflection Bay Golf Club a unique golf experience compared to other Las Vegas-area courses?
Reflection Bay truly stands out because it's not your typical desert course. You'll find five holes playing directly along the stunning Lake Las Vegas shoreline, offering a refreshing, almost coastal feel that's a stark contrast to the arid landscapes elsewhere. The water features and lush landscaping create a beautiful, memorable backdrop you won't get anywhere else in the region.
How challenging is Reflection Bay, and what kind of golfer will enjoy it most?
This Jack Nicklaus design is a proper test, but it's fair. You'll face strategic bunkering and water hazards that demand smart course management, especially on those lakeside holes. We think it's perfect for the golfer who appreciates a well-maintained, strategic layout and isn't afraid to think their way around a course, rather than just bombing it.
When is the best time of year to play Reflection Bay, and what should I expect from the conditions?
We highly recommend visiting in the spring (March-May) or fall (September-November) when the desert temperatures are ideal for golf. You'll find the course in immaculate condition during these seasons, with lush fairways and true-rolling greens. Summer can be brutally hot, so unless you're an early riser, plan your trip for cooler months.
Is Reflection Bay worth the premium green fee, and what's the overall experience like?
Absolutely, we believe it's worth every penny for the quality of the course and the overall resort experience. From the moment you arrive, you'll feel like you're at a private club, with top-notch service and excellent practice facilities. It's a full day out, not just a round of golf, and the views alone justify the investment.
Are there any signature holes or unique features at Reflection Bay I should look out for?
You definitely need to pay attention to the stretch of holes along Lake Las Vegas, particularly the par-3 8th, which plays right over the water to a peninsula green. The par-5 18th is also a fantastic finishing hole, requiring a precise approach over water to a green framed by the clubhouse. Nicklaus really made the most of the lake here.
