Disc Golf Course

Frequently Asked Questions

When's the best time to play the Disc Golf Course to avoid crowds and enjoy the weather?

We always recommend visiting in the shoulder seasons, either late spring (April-May) or early fall (September-October). You'll find the weather is perfectly mild for a full round, and the summer tourist rush hasn't quite hit, giving you more open fairways.

What's the biggest challenge players face at this particular Disc Golf Course?

Without a doubt, it's navigating the dense, old-growth forest on the back nine-especially holes 12 through 15. Your accuracy with a mid-range disc will be tested, as stray shots often mean a long search in the underbrush. Keep your discs in the fairway, or you'll be adding strokes quickly.

Are there any fees to play, and what amenities should we expect at the Disc Golf Course?

Good news-this course is completely free to play, which is a fantastic bonus. You'll find basic amenities like a few picnic tables and a portable restroom near the first tee, but we suggest bringing your own water and snacks, as there's nothing else on site.

What's the "must-see" or most memorable hole at the Disc Golf Course?

You absolutely have to experience the view from the tee pad on hole 7, "Eagle's Perch." It's a downhill shot with a stunning panorama of the valley below, making it a truly unforgettable moment, even if your drive doesn't quite make it to the basket. It's a fantastic photo opportunity.

What practical advice do you have for someone playing the Disc Golf Course for the first time?

We strongly advise wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes with good grip, especially if you plan to explore off the fairways. Also, bring plenty of insect repellent during warmer months; the wooded sections can get quite buggy. A spotter for longer drives on blind holes is also a smart move.
